Summary of Deleted: The Game

It started when several people were friended on youtube by Deleted: The Game. After watching the videos people were led to Tyler Mills vlog, and Myspace.

The story that was shaping up revolved around Tyler Mills losing her memory and looking for her boyfriend who had been "deleted" (code for having his identity stolen) and was now missing. However, none of this has happened yet in the pregame elements. Tyler still has her memory, Ethan and Tyler haven't met (from what we can tell so far), and Zach and Ethan's company hasn't even gotten off the ground.

Getting back to the game, a clue was left on the game's official blog leading us to look for a company started by Ethan and Zach and relating to protection from ID theft. After spending almost 2 days scouring the net for any sign of a company, Irene Adler, from UF, found a link between some of the DtG sites. Moonfruit a software for designing web sites had been used on more than one site. Noticing that it allowed searching for sites made with that software she quickly stumbled upon this site. That site turned out to be a mirror site, but which led us to the actual URL (http://www.secureidguard.com).

Looking over the Secure ID Guard site, there were a few leads, but the one that proved useful was the phone number on the front page. However, the number did not work on the first day the site was found. Calling the number the next day, there was a voicemail message in German. TheIllustratedMan surfed several chat rooms until he found someone willing to translate the message for us. They got something like "Secure ID Guard has not paid it's bill, I'm looking for Zach Bremmen, if you know where he is leave a message."

This has led us to our current search for Zach Bremmen.
